On a school related note, there are no art classes this term. I really enjoyed them last term no matter how cheesy or difficult the task was. I got the chance to charcoal 4 pivotal points in Janus' first 16 years of life AND get marked on it 8D Of course the teacher doesn't exactly know what happens in her life but I explained it simply lol

I drew these while I was in HK in an all so humble mountain top home in a small area called Shek Lei. I could call it an apartment I guess but by the standard of living I've been brought up in, I consider them to be pockets of seclusion for the large Hong Kong population. I apologize for the lack of consistency and story again. I realized as I depressed over it that I still have such a long way to go. Good experience to have tried but I need stories and I can't write my own fanfics because I still see myself as a supporter and cannot move to being 'her' as a character. So many people have, but only so many have succeeded in it. I lurk around fanfic.net yes but there's only one I really like from all the SEED adaptions and continuations.

ALRIGHT I GIVE UP D8 STOP WASTING MY TIME YOU!

I started watching Toradora 2 weeks ago when my brother gave me the first 13 episodes before he left for Melbourne's Supanova. I think he was down there for the AMV panel as usual. But anyway, First 13 episodes were engaging but not addictive for me. There was not enough character development for Minori Kushieda and I thought Ami Kawashima's development could have been given a bit more time. It was an acceptable conclusion for her though. Unlike Kushieda who is -way- too underdeveloped. In anycase, it was definitely something fresh and away from my SEED adaption but I was able to wait a week with no problems for my brother to come back here and gave me 5 more episodes (14-18 inclusive).

Only now does the story pick up. I got into so much it's thrown my usual 1-2 am bed time to 3-4 am xD. Watched all of them in as soon as my bro gave it to me at like 1 am. I ended up sleeping of course after I finished ep 18 but I just couldn't wait for the rest by then already. Jacky had to go up to Brisbane the next morning and didn't have the rest of the series yet so I ended up youtubing it. D8 bad girl, eps on youtube + I went ahead and got the OST as well. I must have already eaten a bit of the bandwidth >_>... BUT I LASTED UNTIL 11PM THAT DAY! Didn't sleep until 5 am either >_> Kushieda finally received more development in this part. What made me hate her in the first half was completely overturned. Her background's much harder to explain so I'd have much prefered they put a bit more time into her over Ami who's character I thought was more straight forward than Minori's. Okay, despite my in ability to control myself when it comes to anime, overall Toradora was paced better than other 25 episode series I've seen that -don't- have a wooden sign sticking out with the words 'to be continued' painted pointlessly across it. I am no fan of those. *eyes 00*

Ending was, I found, fit in very well. That is, of course, with no regards to the typical 'NOOOOESSSS I WANT MOAR' that is still in me even. Haven't had an anime that has kept me up so late for so long xD SEED didn't because it was just umm flat? The range of plot y's weren't exactly that big in SEED and Destiny whereas anime such as Toradora you could just damn right feel it. Or at least I could

On the aspect of animation, eps 1-13 did no display anything special I thought. I loved the OP though. And I wish they did apply more of what they did there and in the latter half of the series here. But meh, the story makes up for it by heaps. Christmas episodes onwards, showed a dramatic improvement I thought. More special effects such as the star placed upon the top of the tree. Again, I fell for the second OP instantly x333 Sorry for dwelling but you seriously can't hate the second OP! Anyway, Animation: 4.8/5. The first 13 episodes is the reason for the -0.2 lol. Story a full 5/5! Could be my fangirl self that's getting in the way of results but if I were to seriously take away that part of me, it'd only be down to 4.9/5 It's that great xD Voice acting was damn awesome, especially Taiga's.

Personal reflection hm... I realized 2 days ago whilst html typing out a website project that the characters I like all have some association with the Lion/Tiger xD *facepalm* Rather, I was deciding on a signature/logo thingy for myself when the thought came across. Cagalli from her obvious insignia; Saber (though I'm much more declined in her now) was given or rather bought a Lion plush that was never given to her; and now Taiga xDDDD obvious link right there. As for the other characters I can honestly say I love: Kyo from Fruits Basket = cat = lion/tiger?. Mahoro from Mahoromatic on the other hand I have no clue really .____. I mean, the closest I could think of is Slash but to date, I don't actually know what breed he's supposed to be or even if he is an android imitation of a real breed xDDDDD PHAIL you idiot PHAIL!

I personally haven't been that interested in CG as I am in SEED but this->[link] Is a bloody good fanfic. I strongly recommend it to anyone who's into CG and is willing to accepted a very well integrated OC. The guy's just finished covering the whole of R1 and I know he's already got R2 planned out.
